Miss USA® 2005

The Trump Organization was established in 1980 as an umbrella company for the company’s many holdings, which include luxurious real estate developments, hotels, casinos, golf courses and other recreational facilities. In 1996, the company acquired the Miss Universe Organization that produces the Miss Teen USA®, Miss USA® and Miss Universe® pageants.

Plans for the Miss USA® beauty pageant included various marketing tie-ins and as such, it was looking to re-brand the contest and repackage it for the online medium as well.
Brandspeed worked with VIA Worldwide to create a new logo which incorporated a classy script and the red, white and blue colors of the USA flag. The main design element of the Star was then used throughout the event, extending from the opening main identity through to the individual on-air elements such as lower-thirds, menus, program information and tags.
